DEKTON by Consentino
Immerse yourself in the endless design options of DEKTON by Cosentino.
Dekton by Cosentino is a new and innovative ultra- compact surface developed with TSP technology (Technology of Sintered Particles) by our R&D department. This original material is highly resistant to scratching and abrasion, it has very low porosity, so, it also offers maximum resistance to stains. Moreover, it has excellent colour stability due to its protection against UV rays, and it can be used in any climate as it won’t be damaged by heat and thermal shock, even that caused by freezing and thawing! The ultra-compact offers infinite design possibilities that are divided in five main collections: Dekton Solid Collection, Dekton Natural Collection, Dekton Tech Collection, Dekton Wild Collection, the new Dekton XGloss Solid, Natural Collection and Industrial Collection.
Features
Usable slab sizes: 124” x 54”. The design possibilities increase along with the range of applications in kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, wall cladding, and facades.
Available Thickness: 0.8cm, 1.2cm, and 2cm
High UV Resistance
Dekton is highly resistant to ultraviolet (UV) rays and has a superior colour stability so it doesn’t fade over time, making it the perfect choice for both interior and exterior applications.
High Scratch Resistance
Dekton® is a highly scratch-resistant surface. Domestic utensils will not scratch it. However, we do recommend the use of a chopping board to protect the utensils.
Stain Resistance
The new Dekton surface is highly resilient thanks to its low porosity, resisting accidental stains from domestic use as well as from chemical agents. Stains from red wine, coffee, ink, and rust can easily be cleaned.
High Fire and Heat Resistance
Dekton® boasts excellent resistance to high temperatures without compromising on its esthetics or features. Hot utensils, electrical appliances, pots and pans can all be placed directly on the surface without causing any damage to it.
Abrasion Resistance
Dekton® is even more resistant to abrasion than granite, which makes it the ideal surface for commercial applications and high-traffic areas such as flooring and facades. While other surfaces will show the effects of wear and tear over time, Dekton will last for the entire life of the product and will never need to be replaced or retouched.
Resistance to Freezing and Thawing
The low thermal expansion coefficient of Dekton® makes it resistant to thermal shock, going from heat to extreme cold. Its natural resistance to freezing and thawing make it the perfect material even for the most extreme cold environments. Manufacturer’s website Dekton Gallery
